Gail Davis

Gail DavisGail Davis, MSW, RSW, is a registered social worker with the Ontario College of Social Workers and Social Service Workers. She has been providing individual, couple, family, and group psychotherapy since receiving her MSW from the University of Toronto in 1990.

Gail worked at Catholic Family Services of Toronto from 1990 to 2018, providing psychotherapeutic counseling services to individuals, couples, and families, using a variety of approaches, addressing issues such as trauma, relationship difficulties, separation and divorce, grief and loss. She also facilitated a variety of groups, such as Separation and Divorce, Interpersonal Relationships, and Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction.

Gail is currently a group facilitator at Wellspring, a cancer support agency. Here, she facilitates the Patients Connect group, and the Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction group for adults living with cancer, and their caregivers.

Gail provides Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction and Mindfulness-Based Cognitive Therapy for individuals and groups. Mindfulness has been shown to help people with depression, anxiety, pain, and chronic physical conditions manage symptoms.
